Each lady paraded with a new j : chapeau, • , ' i: And what could be better for morale—I don't know. > - At the end of the revue, pictures of the ladies modeling hats ; were taken by Miss Eva Minix and for the newspaper. ■ Washington Home Demonstration Club met October 3 at the firehouse. The demonstration given by the agent was preparation of “Broiler Meals.” The foods leaders Mrs. Grace Weaver and Mrs. Gilbert ^Updike showed the club 5®* prepare Apple Croutes< Three new members to join were: Mrs. Wade Pullen Mrs. Clarence Clough, and Mrs. Harry Rutherford. *' - * ' , Flint Hill 4-H club met October 1. The club chose as their project thjs yea* “Pood for Pep.” During the meeting they filled in 4-H work sheets and discussed basic seven charts of foods. Doris Thompson, Pauline Nethers, and . Paula Miller decided to take Room Improvement as a. second project this year. New members to join were: Shirley Campbell, Millie • Sisk, and Doris Atkins. Washington Senior 4-H club met October 1 at 2:30. The members filled in their worksheets ou their chosen project, “Looking .
