Recruiting is being carried on very actively in this locality, according to, the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force Recruiting Station, 126 S. Main Street, Culpeper. This iS in order to obtain for the armed forces men and women who are willing to serve voluntarily during the emergency. Enlistments are being accepted' continually for both the Army and Air Force.x
In addition to the regular Vac* Sncjes for jthose enlisting for three and four years, there are now a few openings in the Army for riwo-year enlistments. Both men and women are eligible^ Vacancies also exit for direct assignment to airborne troops.
Selective Service registrants who have not received a call for actual induction . may still enlist, the recruiting office says.
