An editor owes Americans refusal to be intimidated, but he also owes the American a means * expressing opinion. Sometimes the opinions may not be popular, but tbe citizen has a right to express himself. Often we find letters to the editor which most of us refer to as “writings of soma crack-pot” but the crack-pot still’ has the same right as the sensible man to have his thoughts express. «d.
