Menefee, which'Newbill will feed out for the Charlottesville Area Baby Beef Show and Sale, held annually each spring. This will make the third baby beef project Newbill has conducted in as many years. A representative of the Norfolk •County ’Virginia 4-H Clubs bid unsuccessfully on several lots of Fancy steers. However, the Montgomery County 4-H Clubs of (Pennsylvania were not to be outdone and purchased 17 fancy steers at 4*45.76 per cwt., which averaged 479 pounds! Luck to them, and it will be interesting to learn how these calves do.

As a result of goals established by the county livestock committee, six Rappahannock boys were allowed, ‘ without immediate cash outlay, as many heifers of as many different herd# to start them off with the best possible in conenction with their 4-H and tFFA commercial beef heifer project work.
