Slate Mills H.D. mat with Mrs. Carter White on October 9. During the meeting the report of the calendar planned at the planning meeting was discussed. The ladies enjoyed a demonstration on “Oven Meals.”
Mrs. C. A. Smith entertained Amissville H.D. club, October 10. Mgs. Joe Hitt gave a report of the calendar planned for next year. The club collected “pennies for friendship.” Mrs. Lee Walters demonstrated the making of Apple Ci'outes and the agent showed the members the steps in preparing a meal in the broiler. ..Vi
>F. T. Valley H.D. club met at the home of Mrs. Lester Yates. Mrs. €. R. Hite had a chart made of the calendar for next year, whieh she explained to the members. Mrs. Maury Brown gave a report of objectives and goals planned at the planning meeting. The. demonstration for October was “broiler meals,” given by the agent and* Mrs. Eddie ■Gore and Mrs. Maury Brown showed the members how to prepare apple croutes, a new way of serving apples.
WoodviUe H.D. club was held at the home of Mrs. R. M. Johnson, October 12. The demonstration given to the club was on broiler meals. During the meeting the calendar for next year was discussed. ' -■ 4-H NEWS
Belle Meade 4rH club met October 9. The demonstration wad making and equipping a sewing box and the members (will exhibit their sewing box at the next meeting. New members are: Jean Kennedy, Rachel Jenkins, and Rachel Deal. ' \
Reager 4-H club met October 8 for their second meeting. The members filled in their worksheet and will exhibit their own sewing boxes at next meeting. New members were: Ann Pullen and Joyce Pritchett. Schedule for Next Week
