The first meeting of the Rep* jpahannock Future Fanners of America Chapter was held primarily for the purpose of organising the cluh for the school year.
The election of student officers was the first order of business. Those elected were: President • Irvin Corbin; Woodville; Vice Pres. - George Lawerence; Amissville; Secretary - William Burke, Washington; Treasurer- William Armentrout, Sperryville; Reporter- Franklin Hawkins, Washington Sentinel - Daniel Keyser, Washington. : ■
Hans were discussed for raising money for the treasury. Through the sale of Christmas cards, vanilla flavoring, and shop work projects, the. boys wfll be able to finance their organisation.
There are 46 boys enrolled in Vocational Agriculture classes this year. Each boy must carry out a supervised farming program on his home farm as a part'of the Study ifc agriculture, fttme of:the outstanding enterprises of * the year are: 8 purebred'Hampshire gilts owned by George Pullen end Richard Griffith; t beef heifer* owned by J, T. Dwyer; Angus heifer owned by Billy Estes; Herebord heifer owned by Kelly Dpdike. Corn and potatoes are among the leading crisp enterprises carried out by F-F.A. hers.
