Neighboring Concert*
Music lovers in Rappahannock will be given opportunities to attend the concerts in all neighbor* ing communities during the fall and winter season according to announcements from Winchester, front Royal, Culpeper, Madison, and Luray. ‘
The Exchange Club in Winchester is bringing the National Symphony to ‘Handley High School, November 13, 6:30 p.m> Sponsors will be sent special tickets at $5 each, which will entitle them to reserved seats either in orchestra or balcony. Other tickets are f2.'50. Mrs A. M. Hickman, telephone Washington-2605, has tickets for those who are interested.
The Culpeper Guild of the Virginia Symphony plans to present a series of three concerts at the high school.
Stephan Hero, violinist, will give a recital as ,.one of the series. Lillian Moore will stage a dance program, and the appearance of the Virginia Symphony will make the three concerts for Culpeper.
Three concerts will be presented in Madison, and three in Laray.
These events will ge through the winter and the Virginia Symphony will play in the spring at Avon Mills. Memberships in the Guild are ft each or two tickets for ft Mrs. D. D. Miller and Mias Charlotte Golladay have these membership tickets for sal*.
