WITH THE 1ST CAY. DIV. IN KOREA—Pfc. Wade H. Fletcher of Washington, Vp., has been awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, a symbol of close-quarter lighting with the enemy, while serving with the 1st Cavalry Division'in Korea.
The Badge, consisting of a ,miniature replica of a Revolutionary War flintlock mounted on a blue background and superimposed on a silver wreath, distinguishes the actual fighting men from rear area and service troops.
Pfc. Fletcher is a member of the 5th Cavalry Regiment.
