FOOTBALL FANS TAKE OVER

Now that the American-National baseball leagues have decided once and for all, who will be the 1951 world’s champions. The sport fans'have turned to football. The following two games were attended over the weekend by the Rappahannock'fans. On Friday, night

was played in Alexandria. Among those attending were Mr. and Mrs. John R. DeBergh, W. F. Moffett, J. W. Price and Miss Dorothy Bland, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea, Carlyle Lea, John Turner, NewbiU Miller and Richard Beck.

Among the Rappahannock football, enthusiasts motoring to Lexington Saturday for the VirginiaWashington and Lee game were: Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mr. and Mrs. Rayner Snead, Dr. and Mn. J. P. Snead, Capt. H. C. Warwick and R. L. Brown.

Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea and Carlyle motored to Lexington on Saturday to be the guests of Mr.
