County Council of all 4-H officers met Saturday, January 15. Officers elected for coming year were: President, Newbill Miller of Washington; Vice President, Carlyle Lea of Washington; Secretary, Betty Johnson of Sperryville; Song leader, Jim Sealock of Reager; and devotion leader, Betty Scott of Amissville.

Forty 4-H officers participated in a workshop for training in officers in performing their duties. The leaders helping with the workshop were: President and vice president, Mrs. George Taylor; secretary) Mrs. Frank Cary; song leader, Mrs. Barbara Gentry; and devotion leadei*, Rev. Norman J. Flythe.
