Mrs. L. R. Hudson entertained Slate Mills H.D. group at her home Tuesday, January 8. Mrs. Carter White and Mrs. E. V, Green plan to make x-ray gowns. The demonstration was suggestions for perennials and shrubs.
AmissviUe H.D. met with Mrs. Les Walters, Wednesday. During the business meeting, officers were appointed: house furnishing and repair, Mrs. Charlie Smith and Mrs. Sarah Latham; craft leaders, Mrs. - Vernon Just is and Mrs. A. C. Latham. Mrs.. Lesf Walters, home grounds leader, gave the demonstration on perennials and shrubs..
P. T. Valley H.D. club were guests of Mrs. J. G. Revercomb, Thursday Mrs. Joe Yowell of Peola Mills gave an interesting talk on shrubs and perennials. Lawn improvement plans were discussed.
Woodviile H.D. club met with Mrs. C. B. Johnson, Friday evening. Members desiring to tie springs in furniture were Mrs. Lily Barber, Miss Mary Stark, and Mrs. C. B. Johnson. Miss Nellie Johnson, home grounds leader, gave the demonstration on flowers.
