Supervisors File Notice
Special Meeting, Feb. 26
According to a notice, filed yesterday in the Clerk’s office. Chairman W. C Campbell and J. P. Cook, as members, have filed a request for. a*v special meeting of Rappahannock Board of Supervisors for Tuesday, February 26, 10 a-m., at the Courthouse for the purpose of considering. I withdrawing the appeal made to the Special Court in die matter of the appeal of the Board against Mrs. Roberta K. Massie, Commissioner of Revenue, in regard to salary and expenses set by the Compensation Board.
Notice had been received earlier * in the week of the appointment of the two other judges to sit with the Circuit Judge-for the hearing and - the date was set for Tuesday, March 4, at 10 a-m. in the Courthouse.
The judges named to sit with the Hon. J. R. H. Alexander are the Hon. Oliver M Pollard of Petersburg, and die Hon. Edward Meeks of Amherst.
Attorney James W. Fletcher will represent the Commissioner of Revenue, and, to date, no legal counsel has been naind to appear for the Board of Supervisors.
