Mrs. Lois Dodson is sick with the flu. Jack Atkins and Richard Lee Jenkins are recovering, after being confined for several weeks! with the flu. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Filling and Mrs. L C- Quaintance were shoppers in Culpeper last Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Marion G. Watts left Monday for a week’s vacation in Florida. While in Florida Mr. and Mrs. Watts will visit friends ‘ and relatives in Miami and Tampa. Mrs. William R. Williamson spent Wednesday in Washington, D.C., with her daughter, Miss Flossie Williamson. !
Mrs. Downing Wood carried Mrs. Sadie Foster and son, Earl to University Hospital Thursday, where Earl is receiving treatment.
Mr. and Mrs. Francis C. Jones of Richmond spent the week nd with the latter’s mother, Mrs. J. G. Brown : in Woodville.
John Wood, of Cleveland, Ohio, visited Mrs. Wood and son, Jenner over the tweek end, in the home of Mrs. Wood’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller at “Millermead”.
