'Red Cross Chairman

With the approach of the 1952 Red Cross Fund campaign, Mrs. D., , D. Miller, county chairman, has announced the appointment Jaenie Jarvis <of Sperryville, as fund ; chairman. It is the sincere desire, states Mrs. Miller, that every citizen in the county will give his wholehearted support to Mrs. Jarvis, as. - h this fund campaign is the only means Y by which the chapter is financed. Mrs. Miller explained that monpy spent by your chapter goes primarily to boys in service, in-various ways, such as telephone calls in case of * illness, death, and other important matters: to the schools for First Aid & books to be "Used in the libraries as texts and reference books, and replenishing the first aid cabinets. “Your chapter,” says Mrs. Miller, “has always conic to the aid of tients to and from hospitals or clothing necessary until the relief board is able to make other arrangements for such families.
