Tomorrow’s another legal holiday. Post offices will be closed; state knd government employees will have holiday; and the ‘‘banks will not be open for business." Every news* paper knows how to word that bit of news. I once heard a weekly newspaper editor get bawled out good and proper for saying the banks would be closed. The cashier from one bank let him know, in no uncertain terms, that under no circumstances did you say the bank was ‘‘closed,” but “would not be open for business.” It seems that term “closed” is reminiscent of 1933, when a closed bank was a reality and it was not just for George Washington’s birthday.
