Scout Campaign Opens
Volunteer workers in the Annual Boy Scout Budget Campaign are .now at work in Rappahannock County, according to T. C. Lea, of Washington, chairman of the county unit.
Local workers met Monday evening in the Courthouse at Washington to lay plans ‘ for the canvass. Basil F. Starkey, Executive Scout Director, outlined the council program of finance and indicated that Rappahannock's quota in the current drive is $860. Last year, the group raised $891 in the budget and capital funds campaign. The total being sought in 6 counties is $18,800, * - -- I “Key" leaders in the effort include: Mr. (Lea, Mrs. Dorothy C.
