Behind the Scenes Of a Flower Show
Almost a year ago it was decided by the Garden Club to have a flower show this spring! The president appointed the chairman in January and the committees were appointed to the February meeting. After due discussion it was decided to use the title of a collect composed by one of the members as the theme.
The collect has been in the year book each year and is repeated at the meetings. It also has appeared in a gardening magazine and on a national radio program. The club members are justly proud of the author and showed it by the choice of the theme. .... jSInce, the,Jsehed«le™is.cen&i4ore4 the law of a show and governs its size, appeal, and scope, the Schedule Committee molded numerous suggestions, their horticultural knowledge, and the theme together to form a balanced picture.
