Members took care of numerous jobs, such as white-washing wheel ■barrows, Imngi n g tables and equipment, staging bird houses in a tree, making brockets for the miniatures, wiring for the shadow boxes, setting up the niches, making large niches, designing and building the entrance and theme of l^the show, and decorating the stage and auditorium as a whole.
After the show is staged by the Staging and Properties Committee, the Entries Committee has the responsibility of keeping a record of each entry and making a corresponding card to accompany the exhibit.
The Classification Committee sees that the entry is placed in the proper class and is classified according to the schedule.
There is a period of about one half-hour between the closing of entries, general cleaning up and the arrival of the judges. - *
The Judging Chairman, who has seeured the judges well in advance, meets them and introduces their clerks, who keep a record of the judges’ decisions and apply the necessary ribbons to the proper entries. The clerks use their records to compute the number of points to arrive at the horticultural and over-all sweepstakes as stated in the schedule.
