Each year Sears-Roebuck furnishes the group with a registered boar for breeding purposes. Last Tuesday your county agent selected a lioar from the J. B. Terrill herd at Orange assisted by H. S. Barksdale and Milton Gore. The animal selected was farrowed March 16 and is from a litter of ten.. The sire also sired the champion and Reserve Champion barrows at the /»lantic Rural Exposition last fall while the dam just earned the Gold Star award for production records on this litter. Actually the official w’eight of this litter was seventy pounds ABOVE the minimum weight of a litter in order for the award to be made by the American Poland China Record Association ! ! ! f !
