} On Sunday, June 8, 1952, at North Carolina State College, Joseph Browning Reid, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Garrison Reid, of Washington, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry ^Management, with high honors. x»oe was a member of the Sigma , Phi Alpha, Alpha Zata, Phi Etma Sigma, Xi Si Sigma Pi, Phi Kappa Phi fraternities. An outstanding student, J oe held many responsible positions, such as a member of the Campus Government, chairman of the Forestry School, on the Hon- „ or Committee*. Staff Pinetum, and the Social Function Committee. A former student of the University • I of Virginia, where he made the Dean’s list, Washington is proud to have Joe as one of her former, graduates of the high school here. *
