On Friday, June 6, the Kappahannodk County High School held its closing assembly program. After the singing of “America”, and a prayer, Five Pointers of the school stood and were applauded. Once again, recognition was given the thirty-seven pupils who had had perfect attendance records for a varying number of years. *
Rosie Mae Mills, valedictorian of the class of 1952, was presented with the Reader’s Digest for a year and was awarded the Balfour Medal for scholarship. This student had made a straight A record throughout high school.
