Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea and daughter, Miss Mary Massie Lea were in Winchester Sunday afternoon to visit Mr. and Mrs. C. W. King. Miss Lea remained in the King home overnight. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hemton and daughter of Alexandria spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Moss. Amenta and Ruth Wood returned on Monday to the home .of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Wood, after an extended visit to their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cravie of Petersburg. Mrs. D. C. Updike has received word that her brother. Judge Ira Partlow was extremely ill at his home in Detroit, Illinois. Judge Partlow has been in poor health for some time.
