Following the rehearsal for the Thornhill-Goates wedding last Friday evening,, the bridaf party was entertained by Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson at their home in Woodville. ^ Mrs. P. D. Dennis of Flint Hill has recently returned home after an extended visit with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Johnson of V.P.I., Blacksburg.
Mr. and Mrs. William Haaker of Richmond were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Wood on Saturday. Thursday, the Haakers visited Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller of "Maple Springs.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Miller on Saturday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. William Groves were guests on Sunday of Mr. Groves’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Groves.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pullen and' family of Richmond were week-end guests of Mr. Pullen’s mother, Mrs. Susie Pullen.
