Judge Ira Partfow Dies

Ira Judaon Partlow, Judge, Eastern Judicial Circuit, West Virginia, with his home at Welch, after an illness or more than nine months, during which time he received hospital treatment at Welch and Charleston, West Virginia, and later Detroit, Michigan, where he died Wednesday, June 11, 1952, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alden R. Judge P&rtlow was born at the family home in Rappahannock county, near Washington, February 20, 1876. He was the son of Burrell T. Partlow, former Mayor of Washington, and Ruth Updike Partlow. During his adolescent years he was a student at the “Old Academy” in Washington, and later completed his academic education at Randolph-Macon College, Ashland. He later entered the Law Denartment.
