Miss Alice E. Yancey, County Office Clerk at Culpeper, received an award in recognition of her ten years service with the Department of Agriculture, at a meeting of Farmers Home Administration personnel held in Richmond on June 10, 11, 12. Miss Yancey is secretary of the Culpeper Farmers Home Administration Office and has served as secretary in this office for 4 Vt years. Prior to that she was employed by the Soil Conservation Service five years in Culpeper and with the same agency in Washington, D.C. one year.
Miss Yancey lives in Culpeper county and has done outstanding work during this period and has received high commendation and praise from her Supervisors in all those agencies. The Culpeper office at which Misd Yancey is employed, due to the recent reorganization of the Farmers Home Administration, is the office serving the following counties in Nor* thern ■Virginia: Loudoun, Fairfax, Arlington, Fauquier, Prince William, Rappahannock, Culpeper, Madison, Stafford, King George, Orange, Spotsylvania, and Caroline. • As A AA
