Reported The new firehouse for the Amiss* ville VFD has almost reached the top of the first floor level, President mas Tear of the department rerts.
The cinder block building will have ivo glass block windows on the first floor. The second floor will be built wood. Ed Martin of Viewtown was the |rst resident to respond to a plea for nd floor lumber. He donated a ad of poplar logs, which will be wed into lumber by Charles Green's wmill. Levi Atkins hauled the logs ora Viewtown to the building site, a donation to the department ’ore cinder blocks and more lum* ; also, are needed and the Departt renews its plea for help in this t, or any other kind of help for project, which will become such a ble community asset benefiting !y.
