Graveside funeral services were held Sunday’afternoon at 2 p.m. for Robert Henry Timbers* of Hawlin, who died at his home Thursday after a period of declining health, from the burying lot at Hawlin. The Rev. J. J. Jackson officiated.
Mr. Timbers, 85 years of age, was the son of the late James Timbers and Mrs. Jane Mulberry Timbers of Rappahannock County.
Mr. Timbers is survived by one daughter. Miss Nellie Timbers, of Hawlin and four sons, Edward, Bill, James and Richard Timbers of Hawlin, His wife, the former Homie Gibson, died about wenty years ago.
Mrs. Hattie Richardson is a weekend guest of''Miss Margaret V. Richardson and Mr. and Mrs. Irene Walker of Philadelphia, Pa.
Airs. El/a Dennis celebrated her 74th birthday at her home January 23. Daughter, Nellie Dennis, Mrs. Aaron Fletcher and Mrs. Lillie Weathers, Mrs. Rachel Beckham and Mrs. Josie Groves and family, pastor, Bro. Timbers and Bro Aaron Fletcher were present. Prayer service was held conducted by Bro. Timber!
