CANASTA PARTY
Mrs. William H. Lyne entertained at a Canasta Party on Wednesday evening in honor of her daughter, Miss Peachy Lyne, who celebrated her eleventh birthday. Those playing besides the honoree were Misses Myrla Ann Updike, Evelyn Tyler Miller, Carolyn Turner, of Washington, Mildred Maney, Elizabeth ‘ Smith, Linda Lou Dodson, Nancy Brown, Carolyn Brown, Mary Lou Davis, Edna Yates Schaefer, and Judy Hawkins. First and second high score prizes were awarded to Misses Evelyn Miller and Judy Hawkins. After the game the hostess served refreshments to the group.
