Yates, who spent last week in Arlington with Mrs. Joe Aylor and family, returned to her home at the Lee Highway Hotel on Sunday. J. Rodes Brown and W. H. Lyne made a business trip #to Roanoke ever the week end. George L. Taylor, J. Rodes Brown and Carson Johnson attended a VFW meeting in Waynesboro, Sunday.
Mrs. J. G. Brown and Miss Eda Finks were dinner guests on Tuesday to watch TV of Inaugural Parade of Mrs J. Rodes Brown. On Sunday, guests for the day of Mrs. Brown were Rev. and Mrs. A. Paul Thompson and daughter, Ann Rodes.
Rev. Arthur Rihble, who conducted services at Emmanual Episcopal church, Sunday morning, and his daughter, Miss Beverly Rihble of Boyce, were^diMier guests of Miss Annie Stephenson and her brother, Harry Stephenson.
Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Cloud and grandson, Larry Woodward, were guests Friday night of Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown.

Diane Bruce, danghtcr of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bruce, celebrated her 7th birthday Sunday at “Jackson Hill" with a small group of youngsters invited for games and refreshments from 3-5 p.m. Those present were "Tish" Kilby, Doris Ann Dodson, Edna Yates and Susan Schaefer.
