To Discuss Home
Recently much publicity has been , givfcn to a nursing home in the southern part of our country where - the old people were starved and cruelly treated. One would guess that there are homes of this type in most states. Usually the patients in these homes have small incomes or are public assistance cases, because the homes charge less. The home just •mentioned aroused considerable public indignation, yet we here in Rappahannock County do not give much thought to what happens to our homeless and ill old people. This county now has a chance to prevent such a tragedy here. The home for the aged and chronically ill proposed for this area of this State will be an institution of which we can all be proud. Rappahannock County can have a share in this, but we have to want it enough to appropriate our share of the building fund. Come to the Court House tomorrow night at 8 p.m. and hear more about it .
AUXILIARY MEETING
The Woman's Auxiliary of the Trinity Episcopal, church will meet Wednesday. April 7 in the church at 3:30 p.m.
