A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom, has called home our dear friend and beloved teacher. Mrs* Edgar R. \Browning7~
BE IT RESOLVED, that the congregation of the First Baptist church of Flint Hill, Virginia, in session on January 24, 1954, express to her family its sense of sorrow and loss over her passing, and convey to them that • it was felt by .all whose lives she touched, that it was a privilege to have known one whose truly Christian character shed its light for over fifty .years of service. -She' was a profound student of the— Bible, a teacher of ability, and a faithful follower of her Lord and Savior.
“I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." ' And finally, BET IT RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be pre• setfted to the family of Mrs. Edgar R. Browning and a copy sent to the State Baptist paper, the Religious Herald and that a copy be spread upon the minutes of this meeting qf —the church.Respectfully
