On Saturday night, Mr. and Mrs. Gid S. Jenkins and family, were guests in the same home. J. Rodes Brown Jr. spent tthe past week end in Richmond to attend a Bankers’ meeting on Sunday. Mrs. Brown and her two children, Susan and Margaret were dinner guests at_ “Rock Villa,” the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown.
Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Singleton were Mrs. Flora Herndon, her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Marshall and Mrs. L. E. Marshall of Charlottesville.
Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller were supper guests on Friday of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood.
Mr. and Mrs. David V. Chapman Jr. and Mrs. Fannie Kendall Mitchell of Richmond were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. "D. V. Chapman and Mrs. Mary K. Brown. .
Elder J^ Harvey Daily attended the regular morning service Sunday at the^Happy Creek Primitive Baptist church, wheree he'was a guest speaker. Afterwards he was a dinner guest of Mr. and Mbs. John Wood. Mrs. Daily is confined to her home by illness.
