With regret we hear of the increase of the speed limit in the town of Washington from 25 miles to 35 miles. Moreover we are sorry to see the-increase in the speed limit in Woodville from 35 to 45 miles. The increase in Washington’s speed limit is more lamentable as it came before the vote of the town council and was approved by a 4-2 majority. The council could have rejected the resolution. But this sound decision to change the limit was arrived at in a logical manner, we are told* For, following the two tests in the ' town, an average of 36 miles was recorded.
