Johnson’s store was third stop made by the group. Mrs. Johnson invited the group after the store closed at noon. She very ably pointed out quality points in buying sheets, blankets, curtains, drapery and slip cover material. After this Mrs. Johnson treated the group at Lewis Drug Store.
After the tour the group went swimming at Williams Tea Room.
Mrs. Lois Snead, adult leader for group, aided in transportation. Girls attending were: Carolyn Turner, Florence Atkins, Frances Walker, Eleanor Atkins, Jean Lillard, Judy Black, Faye Black, Edna Dodson, Ann Yates and Betty Rutherford.
Miss Mary Bruce was hostess for Massanova H. D. Club Tuesday. The group made hammered copper bowls.
Mrs. D. D. Miller entertained Washington H. D. Club WednesVvith Miss Nellie Johnson Friday day evening. The ladies finished making their copper bowls. Plans were discussed for picnic in August.
