Avoid drinking water from any source other than an approved public supply or from wells or springs that are examined regularly and are known' to be safe for drinking. If it should be necessary to drink water that is suspected of being contaminated or the safety of which is unknown, boil it before taking it into the body.
Water differs from other articles of diet in that it is partaken raw while 90 per cent of all other food is disinfected by cooking before it is consumed. It comes in contact with many different thiifgs spread over wide areas and is the natural vehicle for removal of wastes from these areas.
