Mrs. George Sabine and her three children, who have been visiting her brother and sister-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Powers have left for their home in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The Powers recently came to live at the former Clarence Hudson farm on the Reva Road after extensive improvements and remodeling of the house.
Mrs. Lula Coates of Washington, D. C. and her sister, Miss Ouida Tanner of Criglersville ' were Tuesday callers at the home of Mrs. Kenneth Tanner.
Mr. and Mrs. Audie L. Weaver entertained at a family gathering on Sunday. Among those who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Birkett and family of Oxen Hill, Maryland, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mitchell and family and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Harrington and family of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Weaver of Banco, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hoffman of. Brightwood.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry B. Elliott of Washington, D. C. arrived Saturday for a visit with their mother, Mrs. Nina Jenkins. Mrs. Elliott will spend the week and return home with her husband next Sunday.
