Mrs. H. D. Fisher, who had been enjoying a two-week stay W’ith her sisters, Mrs. Jennie and Miss Lizzie Miller, returned to Richmond with her daughter, Mrs. Marshall Petty, who drove up Sunday with Mr. Petty to spend the day with her aunts.
Mrs. John B. Sparrow of Martinsville has recently returned home after spending several weeks with her sisters, Mrs. O. G. Flippen and Mrs. Thomas M. Henry of “La Grange."
Dr. and Mrs. R. W. Quaintance enjoyed a visit Sunday and Monday from their children, Mr. and Mrs. Barton P. Quaintance, David and Deborah, their grandchildren, of Fredericksburg.
Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Yowell and their daughters, Betty and Joyce of Rapidan were Sunday callers of Mrs. Robert Brown, and also of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Nethers.
On Monday evening, Mr. and Mrs. George Thornhill entertained Mr. and Mrs. O. Stonewall Kilby at dinner in honor of Mrs. Kilby’s birthday.
