Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bowersett and family of Laurel, Maryland were week-end guests of Mr. and-Mrs. James Settle. Mrs. Robert Peterson and children returned with Mr. and Mrs. Bowersett for a visit. Also guests for the week end were Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Bowersett of Athens, Ga.

Mrs. G. W. Smith was called totter home near Harrisonburg by the death of her father, on Saturday. She remained there over the week end.

Charlie Smith spent the week end with Mrs. R. L. Massie.

Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning and family attended the Open Air Theatre, Wednesday evening. _Last night, Wednesday, Mrs. Bill Williams was guest to the Flint Hill Garden Club at heii home in Front Royal.

Charles Wood and his son, Bur-. rell of Blacksburg were recent visitors at Sunny Slope.
