On this particular curve ( near Spring House Farm) so many mishaps have Occurred during the past few years that the owners of the property had to move their fence back away from the rightof-way (shown by a dotted line).
Approaching this curve from the south, going down hill, there is a sign stating that the maximum safe speed for this section of road is 30 miles per hour. This sign is X065 feet before you get to the bad part of the curve, which is elevated so slightly that you can hardly notice the difference. Something should be done about this and other dangerous curves in our county or else people will be saying stay out of Rappahannock for their roads are a deathtrap.
This curve will be s brought to the attention; of the Highway Resident Engineer at the next regular Boa^d of Supervisors meeting. If you know of any more existing danger spots let your Supervisor know before November 3.

Visitation Program
A County-Wide Visitation Program was discussed by the Rappahannock County High School Parents-Teachers Association in their October meeting held in Washington, Tuesday night.
