Ted Barbur had the misfortune to fall while playing Sunday and injure his mouth. He was taken to the doctor where several stitches were taken. At latest report, he is feeling very muchbetter.

Dinner guests of Mrs. Hattie Jackson on Sunday were her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Haney, Mrs. Charles Jackson and two sons, James and Charles, Jr. In the afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. M. Dennis of Washington and the new granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Jackson called to see Mrs. Jackson in Sperryville.
Miss Willie Hunter of Washington, D. C. was a week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Hunter.
Elder S. W. Timbers will leave for Easters, N.C. Friday, October 8. There he will fill an appointment at Rocky Mount, N. C. and also visit the Turner Swamp Primitive Baptist Association near Wilson, N. C. Saturday and Sunday. Those who will accompany Elder Timbers will be Elder and Mrs. I. C. Goodall of Huntly, Mrs. George Washington of Hume and Mrs. McKinley Weathers of Washington. Elder Timbers hopes to return home on Monday, October 11.
