Slick roads coupled with care-, lessness were the contributing factors in 7 automobile accidents in the county last Saturday. All the accidents occurred between Ben Venue and Sperryville.
At 3:30 Saturday, a bicycle, ridden by Wilbur Atkins, age 13, coming out of a side road( No. 618) struck a truck, driven by Leonard Earl Pullen of Culpeper, that was moving in its proper lane. The youth had leg and back injuries. Hjs bicycle was destroyed. - The truck was not damaged. -
