The doubleheader of the century has been planned for this Sunday, October 10 at 2 p.m. on the Flint Hill diamond.

The first game, featuring - the Hume Athletic Club versus the Rappahannock All-Stars, will afford some excitement to the spectators. But'the second game of the doubleheader promises to strain every vocal cord as the 1935 AllStars battle the 1954 All-Stars to the cruel finish. Among the old champs that will leave retirement for this one benefit performance will be: Herbert Foster, “Bee” Miller, Jfack Bruce, Mahlon Ramey, >T>utch” Updike, Fred Schaefer, John R. Moore, Buddy Moore, Ned Settle, Jim Settle, ‘Babe” Foster and Bob Cook. All proceeds go to the Flint H[ill Volunteer Fire Department. Admission is children, 25c; and Adults, 50c. > i ■* ■ > ,
