The Amissville Volunteer FireCompany answered a call to the' home of Mr. and Mrs. Roadcap Atkins on Friday, ijanuaiy 21.
The chimney was afire arid flames had spread to the studding in the wall. By leaving off sonje. plaster the flames were extinguish* ed and the building saved with a minimum of damage. The firemen thoroughly cleaned the chimney to prevent further trouble.
