GARDEN CLUB MEETS WITH MRS. ESTES
The Rappahannock Garden Club met in the home of Mrs. . Charles' Estes on Wednesday, January 26th. After the business session, the group enjoyed 2 film strips, one on “-Orchid Culture in the Hawaiian Islands” and another on "Low Countries* and Dutch ahd Flemish Paintings.” : The latter concerned the paintings to be shown in the Artmobile visit to the county. *
The exhibits for the months were “Dried Materials.” Mrs. ,J. G. Revercomb won first place with her exhibit and Mrs. W. R. Williamson placed second with her. exhibit. ( ✓

Mr, and Mrs. C. R. Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Noel of Washington, D. C. accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Ryan of JSycamore Park, Culpeper, on a visit to the Miller sisters on Thursday afternoon.
George Tfiornhill of Rag View” returned Friday evening from jl trip to Salisbury, N.C. His sister, Mrs.'Vinda Kilby spent the week with Mrs. Thornhill. * Mrs. Cleveland M. Ramey has been confined to her home for several days this past week with the “flu”, but is now able to be out and around. ' !
