RAINFALL TOTALS .16 * IN MONTH OF JANUARY
Rainfall in January hit an all' time low last month when only .16 of an inch was recorded for Washington by Miss Ruby Jenkins, official Rainfall Observer. The second lowest recorded rainfall for January wasin January of 1945 (the year Miss Jenkins began the records) when 1.14 inches fell. ^
The rain- and snow of Tuesday , night and the snow of early Wednesday has totaled 21 of an inch*, already more than recorded'for the whole of last month.
Three Credit Course Open To Teachers
