The R.CH.S. Chapter of Future Homemakers of America held a candlelight initiation cere' mdhy on January 26th. President Ann Yates presided. The goals and ideals of , the organization were presented. Girls working in their' first year of Home Ec received pins. They were: Paula Miller, Eleanor Atkins, Frances Walker, Faye Black, Corrine Burke, Evelyn Miller and Jean Jenkins. Girls with two years of experience re*, ceived a guard, those with three years’ work, a certificate. Girls completing four courses were given , a goldaseal for the certificate. ' After the ceremony, the girls had a social hour with the F.F.A. chapter'as their guests.
Today, Febrruary 3rd, at 2:30, Wilfred Hetzel, “the world’s greatest basketball trick-shot artist,” will give an exhibition at R.C.H.S. Hetzel holds 110 world’s records on 90 different trick shots. (We hope that out of this number our teams will pick up a few.)„ . -r
