The P!aiit Sale, sponsored annually by the Rappahannockj Garden Club, will be held this ypar on Wednesday, May 4 at 10:30 in front of the Sandwich Shop in Sperryville. i
Choice selections of annuals, perennials, and small-sized shrubs, from the gardens of club members will be offered at attractive prices. Included will be Snapdragons, Pansies, English Daisies, Chrysanthemums, Lily-of-the-Valley, Day Lilies, Phlox, Iris, Sweet William, Flax, Cowslips, Rock Garden plants, Herbs, and numerous other plants.
Inquiries from gardeners throughout the County indicate wide-spread interest in the sale this year, and the Garden Club is making every effort to meet the requests for plants and to halve all material in excellent growing condition. | j.
EXECUTIVE MEETI1 FOR FLINT HILL P.-T. A. OFFICERS
Mrs. Raymond Sutphin presided at the regular P. T. A. executive meeting at the school Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. The business for the regular April meeting was discussed. It was decided to hold the meeting an hour early so that any who wished might attend the revival services at the Baptist Church. , s > ,
