Uis Masonic Cromers conducted the Masonic rites and served as active pallbearers. Among the honorary pallbearers were Deacons William Porter, Amon Richardson, Harvey Clanagan, Lewis Carter, McKinley Dennip and Clarence Dealing. The First Baptist Church Junior. Choir acted as flowerbearers.
Mr. Carter played an active role in civic affairs, always ready to lend the helping hand to a good cause. He was a deacon of the First Baptist Church for many ' years and a member of St. Luke 312 Masonic Lodge, Front Royal.
