John Wade Jenkins
John Wade Jenkins, prominent farmer of WoodvQle, died at his residence Monday night, April 18th, following a long period of declining health.
Mr. Jenkins, 77 years of age, was the son of the late Elliott Jenkins and Mrs. Elizabeth Dod- . son Jenkins, of Rappahannock Count)-. He is survived by one daughter,9 Mrs.-Hugh C. Woodard, of Culpeper; two sons, Samuel B. Jenkins, of Culpeper, and Robert R. Jenkins, of Woodville; one sister, Mrs. John Dodson, of Culpeper; one brother, Luther E. Jenkins, of Peola Mills; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, April 22 from Geest Funeral Parlors with interment in the Fairview Cemetery. Res-. George W. Bowman, assisted by Rev. Warren Corbin, conducted the last rites.
Active pallbearers were Lewis Turner. Brown Miller, Maurice O'Bannon, Weldon Burke. Dr. J. P. Snead. James W. Fletcher, George Miller and Lee Thornton.
