Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Devers and their family were dinner guests on Sunday of Mrs, Ida Devers at Flint Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Hening left Sunday for Canada making stop overs in Alexandria and Baltimore to visit their son and daughter, Burwell Hening and Mrs. James Stewart. They will also make a visit in New York and sail from Montreal on Saturday for a tour of England and Scotland and other places of interest forrthe next six months. »■ 1
James Gore of Maryland was a week end guest of Mrs. ’Tpnie Gaunt and family. !
Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Shade and their two children of Charlottesville came Friday for a week-end visit with Mrs. Shade’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. M, Dwyer. On Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Shade motored to Roanoke to attend a banquet given by the Union Bankers Insurance Co. of which Mr. Shade is an employee. Their children remained, with their grandparents for the day.
